MEDIA ALERT FOR IMPACT12 – DAY OF OUTREACH
MEDIA ALERT: 800+ passionate young adults to serve the New Orleans community!!!!!

What: On Monday nearly 1000 young professionals, college students, high school students and church leaders who have been attending Impact12, The Impact Movement’s national conference, will enter low income communities in New Orleans, knocking on doors and distributing more than boxes with enough food to feed a family of four. The outreach will take place in partnership with several New Orleans churches.

Who: Young college and high school students along with young professionals partnering with The Impact Movement, a faith based non-profit organization that seeks to produce emerging leaders of African descent with strong character, financial principles and resources to share their faith to help their communities, campuses and global community.

Who Should Attend: Anyone and everyone who may be interested in being a part of an opportunity to serve others.

When: Impact12 began the evening of December 28, 2012 and ends the morning of January 1, 2013. The Day of Outreach begins the morning of December 31st at 11am and ends that afternoon at 5pm. There will be a debrief time following at the hotel to celebrate the event and share changed life stories.

MEDIA ALERT FOR IMPACT12 – LEVEL 3:16 CONCERT
MEDIA ALERT: National Recording Music Group Appearing to 800+ college students December 30th in New Orleans At The Impact Movement National Conference.
What: The Impact Movement is holding their 12th national conference. Cross Movement Records group Level 3:16, representing an eclectic fresh blend of modern gospel music with authentic Christian hip hop will be performing live in concert.

Who: Level 3:16, a unique band that combines 2 male emcees, 3 female vocalists and 1 female DJ, and uses Hip Hop, R&B and urban gospel all with a powerful and life changing message. The self-titled debut album released December 28, 2010 on Cross Movement Records.

The album reached excellent charting success in its first week, charting #1 on the R&B/Hip Hop Christian Sound Scan Chart, #1 on Christian Rap Amazon MP3, #1 on Christian Contemporary Music Amazon MP3, #2 on iTunes Christian & Gospel, #3 on Gospel Amazon MP3, and #8 on the Billboard Gospel Chart.

Since that time Level 3:16 has enjoyed the privileges of opening for Contemporary Christian Music legend Michael W. Smith, and was part of the 2011 Legacy Conference lineup of artists that included Grammy-nominated Lecrae, FLAME, and others. Despite current successes the group’s main focus remains to elevate their culture and generation to the next level of reality that begins only with embracing the gospel message of Jesus Christ.

In 2012 Level 3:16 will be featured in a docu-reality show produced by Issachar Media and plan to release a second album with Cross Movement Records.

Who Should Attend: High School Students, College Students, Marketplace Professionals, Pastors, Youth Pastors, Vocational Ministers, those who work with youth, those who love music.

MEDIA ALERT FOR IMPACT12 – MALI MUSIC CONCERT
MEDIA ALERT: National Recording Artist Mali Music Appearing to 800+ college students December 29th in New Orleans At The Impact Movement National Conference. He’ll Be Live In Concert, With Christian Hip Hop Trailblazer Da’ T.R.U.T.H. Opening The Event.

What: The Impact Movement is holding their 12th national conference. Mali Music, renown gospel music artist, songwriter and producer will be performing in concert and speaking to conferees at the event. Concert is OPEN TO THE PUBLIC, tickets are $20 at the door and include admission to the conference’s evening session December 29th.

Who: Jamaal “Mali Music” Pollard, the man who’s bringing conventional gospel music to another level and continues to challenge the genre with a contemporary twist. The GMA Dove Award nominated artist has been a featured performer on shows like The 2011 BET Awards and BET’s 2012 Celebration of Gospel.

Who Should Attend: High School Students, College Students, Marketplace Professionals, Pastors, Youth Pastors, Vocational Ministers, those who work with youth.
